For years I have been obsessing about perfecting my execution of the classic, Grandmother's Favorite Dishcloth.
I've come to the conclusion that this might be impossible.
While my dishcloths are no longer oblong as they once were and now come out mostly square-like, I think it may not be possible to get the eyelet sizes to match perfectly on the increases and decreases. Also, a slight ridge is formed in the border, a result of the decreases.
So I shall begin obsessing about other projects now, and leave this vintage little pattern in the past.
Next up, Mitered Hanging Towel.
This dishcloth was knit on size 4 needles and used approximately half a skein of Lily Sugar'n Twists in Green.
